Biology has 90 questions, and Physics and Chemistry have 45 questions each.

The exam duration is 3 hours and 20 minutes.

Marking Scheme:

Each correct answer gets 4 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

Key Details:

Application Period: The online application process is expected to commence on February 9, 2025, and conclude on March 16, 2025. 

Admit Card Release: Admit cards are anticipated to be released in April 2025. 

Exam Duration: The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based) over a duration of 3 hours and 20 minutes. 

Exam Pattern: The NEET 2025 exam will consist of 180 compulsory questions, with no optional Section B. The additional time and optional questions, which were introduced during the COVID phase, will no longer be available. 

Syllabus: The syllabus includes topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology based on the NCERT curriculum for classes 11 and 12. 

Application Fee: The application fee varies by category:

General: ₹1,700

General EWS/OBC: ₹1,600

SC/ST/PWD/Transgender: ₹1,000

Outside India: ₹9,500 

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission and should have passed the 12th standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as subjects.
