Guru Kashi University (GKU) is a private institution located in Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda, Punjab, India. Established in 2011 under the Guru Kashi University Act (Punjab Act No. 37 of 2011), it offers a diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across various disciplines. 

History and Development

Founded by the Balaji Education Trust in 1997, GKU has its roots in several educational institutions established over the years:

1998: Guru Gobind Singh Polytechnic College

2001: Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering & Technology

2005: Guru Gobind Singh College of Education

2006: Guru Gobind Singh Institute of IT and Research

2009: Guru Gobind Singh College of Nursing

These institutions were integrated to form Guru Kashi University in 2011, aiming to provide comprehensive education in a variety of fields.
